Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with Self Enforced Quote Contract Compliance and

Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan

One of our client’s needed the ability for sales reps to perform self-service quote generation. In doing so, there was a requirement to validate all quotes for compliance against contracts in use.  Instead of having to continually send completed quotes to Order Operations supervisors for review, the CRM tool automatically vetted all quoted products/services were compliant prior to customer receipt.  For quotes pending compliance approval, draft printed versions (budgetary estimates) were automatically system supervised. The rules engine was deigned to be customer configurable should any contract rule parameters change or new contracts were won.  This project also included a complete ERP integration and inventory management.

Additionally, the requirements called for a Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan with real-time whole environment backup (applications, server, and data), less than one hour recovery for primary data center outages (RTO), sub 20-second data loss on failover (RPO), and no infrastructure investment.  The entire DR solution, as a subscription service, was implemented for less than 80% of traditional replicated SAN solutions.

Unique features of the project included:

Ground Up Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Selection and Deployment

Business Process Associates worked with a Federal reseller to create and utilize a Request For Proposal (RFP), based on internal stakeholder requirements. The RFP was designed to evaluate best-fit platforms and choose technical business partners using a process that separated solution “sales hype” from substance and instill confidence to meet all the client’s requirements.

We continued with the project after the RFP was awarded, working on detailed requirements, project management, deployment, roll-out, staff training/documentation, on-going support, and custom reporting.

With our help, the resulting implementation helped our client go from managing their corporate pipeline in Excel to an enterprise CRM platform, saving them significant time and resources.

DO NOT DELETE

• Replacement of internal pre-sales business processes, being performed in SharePoint, using CRM as an xRM platform.

• Branded mobility deployment with custom forms and scripting.  Mobile app is delivered to staff via a private App store.

• Integration to ERP platform for exchanging of contact, account, quote, order, and invoice information.  This allows self-service reporting & dash-boarding all in one tool.

ERP Migration from QuickBooks to Dynamics NAV

After a problematic Big 3 accounting tool implementation, one of our mid-market Federal contractor clients was using QuickBooks and wanted to deploy a project-centric, DCAA compliant, accounting tool that was also sensitive to the end of the fiscal year. Working collaboratively, we served as an internal project manager and, as one of their accounting team, ensured that the new system, including time collection, deployed on schedule.

This project also demanded a custom reporting solution to address out-of-the-box limitations for employee and manager timekeeping.  The on-demand enterprise level report enabled staff to understand open PTO requests versus approved/used time.
